In the 2026 Expat Almanac, Malta leads Europe with a composite of 85.4, followed by Greece (84.0), Italy (84.0), Spain (83.6), Switzerland (83.4).
Europe has many of the world's five-year and shorter naturalization clocks, several of the strongest healthcare systems by WHO measures, and the entire European Union passport universe.
